Yes. A deposit secures your date and is applied toward your total package cost. The deposit amount depends on the selected date and ceremony location. The remaining balance is due closer to the ceremony, detailed in your booking agreement.
Yes. Once your date, location, and package are confirmed, I'll send a simple booking agreement privately. It outlines the ceremony details, deposit, remaining balance, cancellation and rescheduling terms, travel, and what I'm responsible for.
No. In nearly every U.S. state, any authorized officiant, religious or secular, can sign the license correctly.
A secular ceremony still has structure, ritual, and real emotional weight. It draws that meaning from your actual relationship instead of a religious tradition. Nothing is missing; it's built from different material.
Yes, and we encourage it. Most couples write their personal vows themselves and we write everything around them; some prefer we draft everything from the questionnaire.

Travel within 50 miles is included in every package. Beyond that, it's quoted individually. For ceremonies outside Ohio or destination ceremonies, just contact me directly.

Rescheduling to a new date is always free with 30+ days' notice. Cancellations more than 60 days out receive a full refund minus a small planning fee already spent on your script.
